"Holy Thursday" by W. Blake

This is my annotated bibliography.  I am doing a critical analysis on William Blakes poem "Holy Thursday - Songs of Experience." I am using the Psychoanalytic Critism Theory.  Focusing on the economic and social behavior of this period to answer my question: How do the operations of repression structure or inform the work?  My hypothesis question, " How the era that England was in at this time influenced Blakes mind from the economic and social oppression around him.

  1. Cynthia, Looks like you are off to a very good start! Your sources look both reliable and relevant and you've done an excellent job of annotating them with a summary of the main argument of each and your own analysis. Very well done!

  2. It is a good work to analyse the poem. It analyse the poem from the economic and social behavior of this period authentically. It also picked the good part from the web to explain it.
